Site of large smelter chimney which was place on top of the hill to spread the noxious lead fumes and disperse them high in the air to avoid high death tolls in Dublin city!
The site also has a small opencast just below the chimney where there is some spoil tipped along. One can find cerussite crystals and pieces of galena from this area although it is quite difficult!
