Ref.: New York State Museum Bull. 223,224, Newland, David H. (July-August 1919), The Mineral Resources of the State of New York: 284. A talc mine owned by the Uniform Fibrous Talc Co. and located on Wintergreen Hill, just West of Talcville. Started 1911. Mineralization is a talc deposit to 30 feet (9.8 meters) wide. Workings featured a shaft.
