A privately operated realgar mine.

Yellow to orange transparent calcite crystals, associated with fine stibnites were first found here in 1998, and came to the western market in 2000. Initially, they were erroneously attributed to "Lantan", which is a complete misnomer.

Another mis-nomer is "Xianhuangkuang Mine" - obviously the result of an erroneous translation of the Chinese name, in which "Kuang" means "Mine" (i.e. Xianhuangkuang = Xianhuang Mine).
