Santander is the old name of Cantabria province and Autonomous Community. Presently, Santander is only the name of the main city of Cantabria.
NB: The famous transparent sphalerites often attributed on labels to "Picos de Europa, Santander" are from the Las Manforas mine. Please put the sphalerite photos under "Las Manforas" and not here under "Santander"
