Lindsay's Leap, Newcastle, Mourne Mts, Co. Down, Northern Ireland, UK

Two adjacent granite quarries, one disused, one intermittently worked, on the slopes of Slieve Donard, above Newcastle. Irish grid ref. J 372292 (working) and J 374290 (disused). The working one is known locally as Thomas' Mountain Qy. The disused one as Millstone Mountain Qy. Quarrying began at the latter in 1824.
