Målvika tungsten skarnforekomst, Tosenfjorden, Brønnøy, Nordland, Norge

Two zones of skarn located at Målvika, at the northern shore of Tosenfjorden. The first zone consist of a 100 metre-wide main zone 100 m southwest of Målvika and extends NNW for 700 m inland, to a height of 400 metres.
The second (western) skarn zone is exposed in a road cut 200 m to the south, near Skjervigbogen (Skjærvigbugen).

Postmetamorphic and post-genetic mineralization.

Müller (2008) reports a possible mineable resource of 750 Kt of ore with 0.44 wt.% WO3.

Samples of the scheelite ore are in the Svend Pedersen Collection of the Evje og Hornnes Fennefoss museum and are of interest to collectors of UV minerals. The rich samples display good fluorescence.
