A fairly big site of artisanal gold mining just south of the Sirba River. The gold either occurs as nuggets in lateritic soil or as minute grains in quartz veins. Host rocks are metabasalts of Birimian age. In 1998, an up to 2 m wide vein of massive cuprite with high gold, silver, arsenic and tellurium grades was found.
