Ref.:New York State Museum Bulletin No. 199, Alling, Harold L. (July, 1917), The Adirondack Graphite Deposits: Fig. 1, 11, 17-20. A graphite mine located 2½ miles SW of Ironville. Started about 1907 and closed 1910. Workings featured 4 inclined shafts (main shaft = 72 feet deep), surface pits & a trench.
