Khachakchan ore cluster, Verkhoyansk Silver Province, Verkhoyansk Fold Belt, Saha Republic (Sakha Republic; Yakutia), Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia

Located in the central part of the Tompo ore zone, which is confined to the large sub-latitudinal Tompo fault. This ore zone extends for about 150 km and includes 10 deposits and occurrences of tin, tungsten and silver. Host rocks are UpperPermian to Middle Jurassic sandstones, siltstones, graywackes and mudstones. Igneous rocks are represented by small bodies of lower Cretaceous granites, Upper Jurassic to Lower Cretaceous diorite porphyry dykes, lamprophyres and Upper Cretaceous dolerites. The mineralization styles include Sn-W greisens, B- and Sn-bearing skarn deposits, and younger quartz-carbonate veins with sulphides and silver sulphosalts.
