Sahanivotry, Kaominina Sahanivotry Manandona, Distrikan' i Antsirabe II, Faritra Vakinankaratra, Faritany Antananarivo, Madagasikara
Sahanivotry, the center of the Sahanivotry Commune, is a market place in the Manandona Valley about 50 km south of the town Antsirabe and easily accesible by car. Many minerals from different localities in this area along the river Mananadona both south and east of the Ibity Massifs has been brought here for sale. Minerals bought here and found their way to foreign mineral collections are very often labelled just Sahanivotry.
