This locality is most probably the south extension of the Neuenberg Saint Jacques vein. The vein bears a very special paragenesis with emplectite, eulytine and mrazékite among others.
As this locality lies in the Sainte Marie-aux-Mines district, the place is protected by a archaeological mining district status and all collecting is prohibited.
