A mountain range located SE of Darwin (town), between the Coso Range and the Panamint Valley. The Argus Range Wilderness Area runs 28 miles (45 km) along the east side of the Argus Range and the China Lake Naval Ordnance Test enter covers the west side of the range, including the major peak summits.
