A clay-borate occurrence located about 9.9 km (6.1 miles) E of Edwards, on military reservation land. Operated by the Mojave Corp., Los Angeles, California (<1945). Last produced in 1945. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters

The clay layer may be as much as 100 feet thick. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings included surface openings. The clay was excavated by power shovels from 2 roughly parallel pits about 2,500 feet long, 50 feet wide and 30 feet deep.

About 9,000 short tons of clay were shipped during operation.
