Shaft driven down to 40 m depth, opened around 1880. Located close to the parking lot.

The mine was operated by Boliden during a short period in 1978-1979 when the mine was taken down to 114 m depth. In that period a total of 67 349 ton ore was mined, with a content of 4,25% Zn, 4,00% Pb, 99 g/ton Ag and 0.2 g/ton Au.

In the summer of 2017 the area was claimed for prospecting by the Lovisagruvan AB mining company. The results from prospecting the area are not yet available.
