In granite pegmatite cutting biotite gneiss and crystalline limestone.
"The pegmatite was exposed by a small pit (3 m by 3 m and 1 m deep) on the Harvey Plunkett farm... Both the dump and the pit are now overgrown. Another pit about 200 m to the south yielded two car-loads of feldspar obatianed from a similar dyke."
