An Fe deposit/prospect located in the SW ¼ sec. 15, T6N, R4E, SBM, 1.8 km (1.1 miles) WSW of Iron Ridge (coordinates of record) and 11.6 km (7.2 miles) W of Argos Mountain (coordinates of record), on the W slope of the ridge, SSE of Newberry Springs. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit hosted in dolomite, marble, and granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface openings comprised of 5 pits.

Reserve-Resource data are found in: Southern Pacific Co. (1964), Vol. III.
