Minarets (Mts), Minarets District (Mountain District; Raymond District; Minaret District), Ritter Range, Madera Co., California, USA
A series of jagged granite peaks. Collectively, they form an arête, and are a prominent feature in the Ansel Adams Wilderness which was known as the Minaret Wilderness until it was renamed in honor of Ansel Adams in 1984.
NOTE: These peaks are often included in mineral occurrence data. No specific occurrences legitimately within the discrete area of the Minarets are recorded. All occurrences in the vicinity are located in the surrounding Ritter Range and Minarets District.
