Abandoned gold mine on Eleazer farm located about 22 km west of Potchefstroom.
Gold from the Black Reef Formation of the Transvaal Supergroup was mined, active from the 1930s until the early 1940s.

Majority of the mining area is underlain by sedimentary rocks of the Transvaal Supergroup but a small area to the west is underlain by volcanic rocks of the Ventersdorp Supergroup.
