Tannery, Carbon Co., Pennsylvania, USA
Coarsely crystallized quartz pod exposed in railroad cuts on both sides of the Lehigh river. A well-developed slickenside is exposed on the north side of the river. Crystals can be found in cavities within the massive quartz body.
