Einheit Mine, Elbingerode, Wernigerode, Harz Mts, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany

An iron mine, started in 1889 and closed in 1990, working a hydrothermal deposit of the Lahn-Dill type. Main ores were hematite, siderite and pyrite.
