This is a Cu-Fe-talc-clay mining area W and NW of the Halloran Springs District. It covers a wide-ranging area centered around Silver Lake Flat (dry lake) and includes the Silurian Valley, at least the southern portion of the Avawatz Mountains, the Soda Mountains (N & S segments) and at least the southern portion of the Silurian Hills.
