A barroisite-bearing eclogite in the municipality of Naustdal, located at the northern shore of FΓΈrdesfjorden. The occurence consists of a 2.5 km long ridge that extends east of the river (Nausta) just north of Naustdal center. It was first described by Eskola (1921), then by Binns (1967).
The eclogite body is considered as a deposit for Titanium ore (rutile).
