Borujerd complex, Borujerd (Borudjerd), Lorestan Province, Iran

A complex of granitic intrusions with a well-developed aureole that hosts numerous pegmatites. An elongated oval in plan view, it extends from Nezam Abad village in the southeast to Nahavand town in the northwest, straddling the provinces of Hamadan, Lorestan and Markazi. Borujerd city, for which it was named, is located about at the center of this area.
