St Johannis Fundgrube, Bärenstein, Revier Niederschlag-Bärenstein, Erzgebirge, Sachsen, Deutschland

Ancient silver mine, started in 1732 and worked until 1889. Around 1760, it included 20 adits and small mines in the area around Bärenstein village and east of Bärenstein hill, many of which were older workings. Some of these small mines were later worked independently.
