The "Lothringen" coal mine was located in the districts Gerthe (shaft N° 1/2/6 and shaft N° 3) and Hiltrop (shaft N° 4) of Bochum, Ruhr coal mining area / Germany
First activation: 1872
Consolidation with the "Graf Schwerin" coal mine in 1961 to form the new "Lothringen - Graf Schwerin" coal mine
Abandoned: 1967
