Structure: Mount Scott Granite Intrusive Wichita Mountains
Tectonics: Aulacogen
Deposit: Outcrop
Geology: The saddle mountain rhyolite flowed upon the raggedy mountain gabbro group, and the mount scott granite sill intruded below the rhyolite. Pegmatoid veins were formed in the late stages of the intrusion, and titanclinohumite was formed. The copper probably came from solutions acting upon the diallage gabbro. This is high enough, if weathered, to occur in el reno group.
