Monte Cavalluccio, Campagnano di Roma, Caldera di Sacrofano, Roma, Lazio, Italia

Mottanaite-(Ce) was found in miarolitic cavities and voids in feldspathoid-bearing alkali-syenitic ejectum from the lower pyroclastic flow of the Sabatini volcanic complex.

Peprossiite-(Ce) was found in vugs of sanidinite ejectum within the pyroclastites of the Sacrofano volcanic centre. It results from the late-stage deposition from pneumatolytic to hydrothermal fluids circulating through the solidified sanidinites.
