Kjennerudvannsgruva silver mine, Kjennerudvann, Kongsberg, Buskerud, Norway

Silver mine. During the period from 1727 to 1782 this mine was in work for 34 years.
In 1934 the possibility to start mining again was investigated. The investigation proved negative, and the work stopped in 1937.
