A lead-zinc-silver mine in the East Kootenay District, North of Kimberley. Ore is in an immense replacement deposit (a complex, diatreme-hosted orebody). Owned by Consolidated Mining & Smelting Co. Workings to at least the 3,900 foor (1,200 meter) level.
The deposit was discovered in 1892. Mining started in 1909 and stopped in 2001.
