A small copper mine at the foot of Caradon Hill, south of Kittow's Shaft of South Caradon Mine. The site is marked by a large overgrown burrow along the boundary between two fields east of Higher Tretharrup hamlet. The mine is said to have worked eight EW-trending lodes hosted in killas overlying the southern rim of the Bodmin Moor granite, but some of them were only stringers or minor branches. It was never productive and although it is known to have produced some ore, there are no records of output.
