Peregrina Mine, Cerro Negro District, Chilecito Department, Sierra de Famatina, La Rioja, Argentina

Ag-Te-rich polymetallic veins related to a Pliocene rhyodacitic complex of the Mogote Formation, which intruded Ordovician sediments of the Negro Peinado Formation. (Most of the mineral species listed here are probably from the most important vein, the La Peregrina vein, but some may be from other veins in the Cerro Negro district.)
