Red bed deposits of the Kazan Formation hosting copper sulphides and uranium mineralization. The red-bed deposits are U-Cu-Mo-Ag without selenides. The Miller bulletin has XRD identification of the primary and secondary phases for the sub-localities. His text and tables do not always match as the text says that Francevillite-Curienite, Uranophane, Iriginite and Powellite are included in the secondary minerals from the Martel Lake area. That may have been a later addition with results from the Pan Ocean Oil exploration data.

Located south of Baker Lake.
