A former placer Au mine located in sec. 19, T26N, R8E, MDM, 3.7 km (2.3 miles) WSW of Seneca and 3.4 km (2.1 miles) NE of Caribou, along Clear Creek. Owner-Operator was the Avid Mining Co. (1989). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Local rocks include Undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
