Three sulfide occurrences near Third Mattagamon Lake. Locality A is near the falls of the East Branch of the Penobscot River. Locality B is along the stream outlet from Matthews Pond to Chandler Pond. Locality C is in an outcrop on the east side of a dirt road extending from Chamberlain Lake to Ashland and 2 km south of Haymock Lake.
