Sedimentary manganese deposit of Cretaceous age.
Located in the Atlas mountains, about 160 km southeast of Marrakech.
The "Pyrolusites" from Imini are in fact Manganites partially replaced by Pyrolusite (analyzed), so the best description of them would be: Pyrolusite replacing Manganite.
