The Little Chief Mine is located 1.2 km (4,000 feet) NNW of Little Chief Peak (coordinates of record), and about 1.4 km on the East of the Williamson Creek, Snohomish County. In the Spada Lake area the mining exploration started in 1874 (Carithers, Guard, 1945) and operated up to 35 mine sites.
