Cerro Loma Pelada, Tafí del Valle Department, Tucumán, Argentina
Located in the vicinity of the town of Tafí del Valle, 100 metres to the left of the road that goes from the latter town towards "La Ovejería" found outcrops of granite and pink granodiorites, bearers of Hematite in the varieties: Martite and Specularite, quartz and feldspar Albite-Anorthite Series, Amphibole Group and Tourmalines in varieties group: Schorl, Rubellite, bicolored and dark and green colors and red Garnet.Pseudo cubic crystals of Martite loose and included reach sizes of 3 cm from edge and forming twin are also presented.
The Schorl is presented in quartz veins and included in translucent and transparent Quartz.
At present the area was partially explored on surface for minerals.
