Latitude: 43°42'21"S
Longitude: 69°25'15"W
Uranium Deposit. Elevation: 1035 meters over sea level.

History: In a large area of the centre of Chubut Province, covering 30,000 square kilometres, and which involves Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary (porphyry and porphyirites with their tuffs, sandstones, conglomerates, shales, etc.) formations, a good number of uraniferous demonstrations were located, either by air or land survey, which can be classified in three groups: a) hosted by sandstones and Cretaceous conglomerates; (b) hosted by Jurassic tuffs and tuff lutitics; and, (c) diatremes and contact sediments.

"Sierra Cuadrada" and "Los Adobes" deposits belong to the first. "Los Adobes" there are several mineralized bodies, consisting of lenticular deposits, housed in a thick bed of sandy, sub-horizontal conglomerate, which presents an extension of 150 x 100 meters, with a thickness ranging from 3 meters at the edges up to 10 meters in its central part, with an average content of 0.18% U3O8.

In "Sierra Cuadrada" to which it belongs "Lagartija", there are several uraniferous bodies hosted on sandy banks and sub-horizontal shaly layers, of Cretaceous age. Mineralization interacted with content in fossil organic material of the strata. The dimensions of the bodies vary between 50 and 100 meters, ranging between 0.04 and 0.18% U3O8.
