A former Au mine located in sec. 9, T32N, R6W, MDM, 0.9 km (3,000 feet) SE of Whiskeytown, on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters.

NOTE: MRDS file #10213501 confuses the issue of there being 2 "Whiskey Hill Mines" localities. That file seemingly contains bits of data pertaining to both localities. MRDS file #10077595 seems to contain data pertaining only to this locality.

Local rocks are not identified (locality under Whiskeytown Lake [?]).

Workings include unspecified underground openings.
