Magnetite Mine near the famous classic Kupferberg at Medenec, started in 1968 and closed in 1992, the mine produced every year some 50000 tons of 65%-rich iron-ore. After 1992 the mine operated several years as tourist-mine and produced some minor ore until the mine was finally closed in 1998.
A famous producer of fine specimens of native silver, silver-minerals like proustite and acanthite.
