This pegmatite is located in the NW1/4 of the NW1/4, Section 1, T15S, R78W, 6thPM.; about 1/2 mile ESE of the Tie Gulch pegmatite. Judging from an aerial view of the area, the workings of the Nachtrieb pegmatite trend northeast to southwest, over a length of roughly 500 feet. According to the owner of the property adjacent to Section 1 on the west, (2012 written communication) "A Mr. Nachtrieb dug and sold what he called Quartz and Spar about 1950"; the "Spar" would be Feldspar, mainly Microcline.
