A small mine north of Kit Hill, which was at work around 1850. It worked on two ESE-trending lodes which were said to contain tin and copper. Hamilton Jenkin, quoting the Mining Journal of 14th December 1850, notes that it also produced tungsten ores, but there are no records of output.
The grid reference marks the approximate position of the shaft. Some overgrown dumps are remaining in a field south of the road leading from Downgate to Luckett.
