Outcrop the viewpoint of Ayosa, Arafo, Tenerife, Santa Cruz de Tenerife Province, Canary Islands, Spain
Afloramiento del mirador de Ayosa, Arafo, Tenerife
Outcrop next to Ayosa viewpoint, in the TF-24.
This is a wonderful example of pyroclastic, containing perfect crystals of augite and Hornblende who seem to have "rained" with volcanic material
The crystals are at a level of pyroclasts light colored and fine fraction
Below there is a darker level of coarser fraction which is also observed but less defined crystals fused to pyroclasts (welded)
It is therefore clear that there is a change in focus geochemistry resulting issuer, the "rain" of crystals
This outcrop is within the National Park of the Cañadas del Teide, being completely prohibited the collection, and sampling and can only be observed the site from the road.
