Clay beds in Carboniferous-Permian strata within a 3 km long belt in the area southeast of Laoshidan city. In places, the clay beds run into coal seams that occur in the same strata. Depending on the depth and distance from the coal at which the beds occur, the clay, which is locally called "Kibushi Clay", may be white, purple or black. It is mined for use in the manufacture of porcelain and ceramics.
Note:
The grid reference is arbitrarily placed in the deposit area.
