Porphyry copper(-gold) deposit, with a diorite porphyry intrusion about 300-400 m below the present surface.
One of the largest copper reserves in Central Europe (1% Cu, 100 million t).
Both high- and low-sulphidation ore types.
Mining started in around 1850, stopped in the 1970s.
Exploration work was carried out in the 1990s. Presently under tender.
