On both sides of route 235, locally named Grand rang Saint-François, small roadcuts, with a maximum height of 4 meters, are present.
The limestone at this occurrence is constellated with numerous flattened vugs (up to 25 cm), hosting very small dolomite, calcite, and quartz crystals.
In the middle of the Northeastern roadcut is the entrance to the now back-filled Richelieu Quarry.
