Minerals are found in nepheline-syenite-pegmatites, and this entry covers several small pegmatites among them the typelocality of eudidymite.
Note: Lille Arøy island has also been called 'Midtre Arøy' and 'Øvre Arøy'. Brøgger (1890) usually used 'Ober-Arö', but he also used 'Mittel-Arö'.
