25 kilometres south-east of Northampton, and 5 kilometres west of Nabawa. Described as south of Narra Tarra mine but the distance is not specified in the reference.

Originally known as the Nana Taira Cu mine. A 1906 inspection revealed a 25 metre deep shaft at the lease's northern boundary, abandoned at this date. Montgomery was highly impressed by what he saw. The 'splendid' formation was 2 to 15 feet across of solid galena and unspecified carbonates. The lode was traceable across the surface heading south-west as a distinct fissure vein type lode. The old workings covering between 30 to 100 metres in length (we are not sure why the variability) showing much 'blue and green carbonates of copper'. This is likely to have been azurite and malachite, but no list of species has been found for the site in the literature yet.
