An island in Sandebukta, 400 x 2700 m, mostly consisting of cambro-silurian sediments. Limestone and marble were quarried here in the 1700s and 1800s. At a few places fluorite-filled tectonic cracks may be observed
NOTE: Most of the island is now protected (in 1970) as a Natural Reserve, and all removal of either rocks, fossils and minerals is strictly forbidden.
