Monte Corchia, Stazzema, Alpi Apuane, Lucca, Toscana, Italia

This area sees the occurrence of mesozoic rocks, marbles and other less pure metamorphic limestones, in contact with paleozoic schists, often represented by metavolcanites. In metalimestones and marbles can be locally found Mn minerals (hollandite, piemontite), also well crystallized.
